EAA Chapter 509 will be hosting a workshop on radio communication at the June 12th meeting at 7 PM. The workshop will be at the EAA 509 clubhouse at the Chippewa Valley Regional Airport (KEAU).

The program is targeted to pilots that obtained their license flying from uncontrolled airfields. They may now want to expand their skills to be comfortable utilizing controlled air space, possibly with hand held-radios. While this workshop is aimed at class D airspace, the skills will be applicable to class C and B air spaces as well as obtaining in-flight information.

The plan is to learn a new skill or upgrade an existing one. Have fun. One-on-one roll playing is planned for those who wish to practice.

A representative from the Eau Claire control tower will participate in the workshop.

Everyone is welcome.
